Fake candidates of SEE: Some released in charge of parents, some released on bail of 40,000

All the examinees who were arrested for giving the SEE exam in the name of someone else have been released.



District Court of Morang has ordered that the examinees who have reached the age of 18 should be given bail and the minor test takers should be placed in the custody of their parents.


District Court Morang Judge Gayatri Prasad Regmi's trial ordered the release of 160 examinees who have reached the age of 18 on bail of 40,000 rupees each.


After the order, 160 examinees were released after paying the bond. District Court Morang information officer Hem Bahadur Budhathoki said that 34 minor examinees have been ordered to be handed over to their parents.


He said that Santosh Rai of Dharan, the director of the institute that mobilized fake examinees, was ordered by the court to release one lakh rupees as bail in two cases.


The examinees were arrested on the 22nd and 23rd of Chaitra from three examination centers in Morang on the charge of taking the exam in the name of another.


The police arrested 126 people from the public secondary school center located in Kerabari rural municipality-7, 53 people from the Saraswati Mavi center of Gramthan rural municipality-2 Jhorahat and 15 people from the Janata Mavi center located in Sundarharaincha Municipality-1 Haraincha.


Based on the police investigation report, the district attorney's office filed a case against those arrested from Sundararaincha and Gramthan on Tuesday and against those arrested from Kerabari on Wednesday under the Education Act 2028.
